After two warm days in a row the weather turned colder once again after a cold front blew through yesterday and the winds picked up out of the northwest. I decided to try to get out a little before the wind picked up even more and I decided on heading to Ware as I had errands to run in that area. It turned out to be a good choice as I turned up my earliest ever Black throated Green Warbler for Hampshire County (my previous early date was April 21 back in 2019). I also had Palm Warblers, Pine Warblers and a single Yellow rumped Warbler at the location (plus I had a couple Louisiana Waterthrush elsewhere) so a five warbler day. Just as I was leaving it started snowing a bit...thankfully it only lasted about 15 minutes.
