On a brief respite from hot and humid weather I headed onto the Prescott Peninsula on Saturday to conduct some bird surveys on the few remaining field habitats.  I covered several field complexes and had 14 species of warblers both in the fields and adjacent areas.  I also had great looks at a Bobcat as it walked through the fields of the largest field complex.
