September is now half way done and the peak of fall warbler migration is upon us with increasing chances for Connecticut Warblers (I had my first one on Sep. 11th) and many species become increasingly less common with each passing day.  The next several nights hold the promise of some good to great migration conditions and each morning out holds the promise of finding new arrivals, perhaps even something unusual.  I have so far had 27 species for the month, which is all the expected species as well as a few lingering ones.  Very soon the predominant warblers will be Yellow rumped Warblers and Palm Warblers.
