The weather finally cooperated a bit this morning with sunny conditions, light winds and temperatures that were not too cold...a nice change from the snow, sleet and freezing rain of yesterday.  After failing to find any Yellow rumped Warblers during early morning visits to Arcadia before work recently I decided to spend a bit more time there this morning.  Thankfully the waters had receded a bit so I could access most areas and I found at least five Yellow rumped Warblers still in the area and showing well.  I walked a few miles checking various other spots but all the warblers were concentrated in one area.  With the warblers this morning plus the couple I had in the East Meadows on Monday there are at least seven individuals that look to be hanging around in the near term and hopefully will stay through the winter again.
