The month of August started out much as July ended, with heat and humidity. I have gotten out birding a bit between bouts of work and I have so far tracked down 15 species of warbler so far. I still have yet to find some low density breeders as I have not been out enough or been lucky enough. Migration is certainly getting underway and mixed species flocks are becoming more common.
