First diverse warbler day of the spring

Blue winged Warbler, KC Trail, Amherst, MA, May 2, 2022
Yellow rumped Warbler 'myrtle', Skinner SP, Hadley, MA, May 2, 2022

After subpar migration conditions over the last several days the conditions changed overnight into today with multiple new arrivals (although the overall numbers and diversity were still below what I would expect for the date).  I spent most of the morning exploring various areas in Hadley and Amherst and found a total of 16 species of warbler with five new species in the county for me today including Nashville Warbler, Chestnut sided Warbler, Cerulean Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler and Blue winged Warbler (which was singing an odd four part song...link to eBird list here).  The weather was overcast and cool which made getting photos tough.  The most noticeable arrivals seemed to be Black and White Warbler and Yellow Warblers with multiple individuals at most stops.

Palm Warbler 'yellow', Home, Belchertown, MA, May 1, 2022
Pine Warbler, Home, Belchertown, MA, May 1, 2022

The camera at the water featured produced another species with a Palm Warbler yesterday as well as a Pine Warbler.  So far I have had three species of warbler at the water feature but hope to dramatically increase that number over the next few weeks.
