June has now come to an end and the weather has become more summer like with heat, humidity and showers/thunderstorms most day.  I ended the month with 23 species of warbler (22 of those in Hampshire County with the only out of county species being Hooded Warbler).  I finished up the month at Quabbin Park as I enjoyed a rare day off.  Lots of adults carrying food to unseen nests and fledglings.  I had a rather cooperative American Redstart fledgling being fed by an adult in the exact spot where I watched a full breeding cycle of some American Redstarts from nest building to fledging and I suspect the ones I saw today were the same ones.  I spent most of my time in the park in an unsuccessful search for the Lawrence's Warbler (last seen on June 19th) and the Cerulean Warblers (last seen on June 23rd).  I will keep checking back over the next several days in the hopes of turning them back up.
